Banana Crumble For One

Move over banana bread, this is my new favourite banana based baked goods! Just one and you’ll be hooked. Hope you enjoy because I can’t stop making this.
Bananas in a crumble? Yes please!
Has to be brown sugar for this in my opinion.

Ingredients
Banana Part
- 100g (3.5oz) of bananas
- 10g (0.35oz) of brown sugar
- 1 tsp of cornstarch (optional)
- 1 tsp of cinnamon (optional)
- Zest of a lemon (optional)
Crumble Part
- 40g (1.4oz) of flour
- 30g (1.05oz) of white sugar
- 30g (1.05oz) of cold butter
Directions
Banana Part
- Heat the oven to 200°C (390°F).
- In a mixing bowl add the bananas.
- Add in the brown sugar. (white sugar is also fine here)
- Add in the cornstarch.
Crumble Part
- In a separate bowl, add the flour, white sugar and cold butter.
- Rub the mixute together till you get a breadcrumb texture. Or, pop it into the food processor to mix it well.
- Top the bananas with the created crumble. Don’t press down on the crumble, you want some air flowing.
Bake
- Bake for 20-35 mins at 200°C (390°F).
