Petra's Chocolate Chip Banana Bread

Chocolate chips in a banana bread? The best combo.
Cream the sugar and butter together.
Adding in the two eggs.
Slowly adding in the flour.
The older the banana the better!
Mash them up into the mixture.
Add in the chocolate chips.
Everything is ready to be baked.
Add the mixture to your lined or buttered tin.
Bake for 50-55 minutes.
After 5 minutes let it cool on the wire rack.
Time to enjoy.

Ingredients
Petra’s Chocolate Chip Banana Bread
- 150g (5.3oz) of brown sugar
- 150g (5.3oz) of butter
- 2 eggs
- 150g (5.3oz) of self-rising flour
- 1 tsb of baking soda
- 1 tsp of vanilla extract
- 3 overripe bananas
- 150g (5.3oz) of chocolate chips
Directions
Petra’s Chocolate Chip Banana Bread
- Cream the sugar and butter together.
- Add in the two eggs.
- Work in the flour slowly. A small amount at a time while mixing.
- Add in the baking soda.
- Add in the vanilla extract.
- Mash up the bananas and add them to the mixture.
- Mix in the chocolate chips.
- When full mixed together add the mixture to a buttered tin.
Bake
- Place the pie on the middle rack of the oven.
- Bake for 50 minutes at 200°C (390°F).
- Mine was in for an extra 5 minutes.
- After taking it out place a wire rack under the tin for 5 minutes.
- After 5 minutes take the banana bread out of the tin and leave on the wire rack to cool.
