Plain Sourdough Banana Bread
Banana Bread and Sourdough, my two favourite things brought together. Really enjoyed this one.
Really liked the combo of the banana bread and the sourdough. Smells so good.
Easy to slice and hard to stop :D!

Ingredients
Plain Sourdough Banana Bread
- 200g (7oz) of self-rising flour
- 200g (7oz) of brown sugar
- 200g (7oz) overripe bananas
- 100g (3.5oz) of sourdough starter
- 1.5 tsp of vanilla extract
- 0.25 tsp salt
- 100ml (3.4 fl/oz) oil
- 50ml (1.7 fl/oz) milk
- 2 eggs
Directions
Plain Sourdough Banana Bread
- Mash the bananas in a big bowl. Add the sugar, and vanilla extract. Keep mixing if you do not want chunky bananas bits in places of the banana bread.
- Mix in the eggs one at a time.
- Add the sourdough starter.
- Sift in the flour slowly while mixing.
- Add in the salt.
- Add in the milk and oil.
- Pour the mixture into your baking tin (Which is greased with butter or lined with parchment paper)
Bake
- Bake for 45-65 mins at 180°C (360°F).
- Let it cool for 10-20 mins and place it on a wire rack to cool more.
